Ergonomic Shape

The shape of a handlebar plays quite a big role when it comes to the proper seating position on a bike. ProTaper MTB handlebars come with an 8° back sweep and 4° upsweep that actively supports a proper riding position and minimizes the risk of numb fingers. Based on your preferences and riding style you can chose from 2 different (3 on alloy bars) rise options that will allow you to find the best balance on your bike.

Youth Handlebars

For the Youth ProTaper mountain bike handlebar system, we flipped the script. We began by determining the ideal grip diameter and worked inward. The result is a handlebar and grip that’s ideal for a smaller ergonomic profile. JUNIT ProTaper handlebar and grip are designed to be used together. For an element of added safety, the grip utilizes a built-in bar plug that will never fall out. The JUNIT ProTaper handlebar system works with all existing shifters and brakes, as the grip features standard component mounting diameter.
